Using Essential Oils in the Bath- Must Know

 <EPSOM BATH + OILS HOW-TO>

There is something so relaxing and rejuvenating about being able to soak + relax in an #epsomsaltbath @ the end of the week. I ❤️ being able to add the healing & aromatherapy touch to the bath with essential oils as well,  but I was finding that adding oils to my bath water 💦 made my skin itchy! That was until I found out the secret... since essential oils do not mix with water and will float to the surface, this can irritate the skin. But there is a way to fix this!  Taking 1-2 drops of your choice of @doterra essential oils and mixing them with a carrier oil such as coconut 🥥, jojoba, almond, or olive oil and then applying to the salt solution makes all the difference. This helps to dilute the essential oil so when you add the salts to the bath and the salts dissolve, you are no longer left with your essential oils floating around undiluted - which can irritate the skin for certain people.

My favorite choice of oils for the bath? Right now it is my @doterra BALANCE for it’s grounding and relaxing properties + TANGERINE 🍊 for it’s cheerful nature and scent. What is a favorite scent for you when you are stressed?
