Do NOT Drink This After Birth

Absolutely no ice or cold water after birth for at least the first week postpartum.

Why? The time after giving birth can be draining due to the act of giving birth. In Chinese medicine, no cold drinks are to pass the lips of a fresh postpartum mother. Cold or ice beverages can reduce the blood flow circulating the body for this healing phase.

TRY, warm herbal + caffeine-free teas like hibiscus or chamomile or room-temperature filtered or distilled water for optimal choices.
