DO UPPER LIP TIES AFFECT BREASTFEEDING?

“Upper Lip Ties DO NOT Affect Breastfeeding”... Why do people keep saying that? It wasn't true then and it isn't true now.

Read below for more information:

One of the biggest things an upper lip tie can do is affect the baby's ability to flange causing the baby to be more uncomfortable. If you have ever witnessed a mom or lactation consultant trying to force baby's upper lip flanged out while feeding, then just see the baby pop off completely within a few moments and bring the upper lip back.

It can also cause the baby to not be able to widely open the mouth due to the less muscle flexibility.
