Torticollis side lying stretch for baby

☝️ of our favorite and easy stretches to do is the side lying neck stretch. To make it simple to understand, we are going to give the instructions for when a child is leaning their neck to their left side (left ear is closer to their left shoulder when compared to the right).

SIDE LYING STRETCH FOR BABY:

1. Parent stand with good posture, shoulders back. πŸ‘©

2. Hold baby on their left side. πŸ§’

3. Take your left arm and place it along the left side of their neck and then grab their hip/pelvis for stabilization. πŸ–

4. Gently bring your shoulders back and slightly lift your left elbow to help stretch the left side of the baby's neck. πŸ‘ˆ

5. Hold for 5 minutes while walking around with baby. Repeat 2-3x a day.
