In the Journal of Pediatrics, a study was published with moms being given either water or carrot juice in their late third trimester and early stages of breastfeeding. The researchers found a higher acceptance of carrots by their infants when they had been exposed to carrots in-utero and through mother’s breastmilk. This study is an example of what is at the end of our fork can influence the choices our children make in the future when it comes to accepting or creating an aversion to healthy eating.
